Kids Vision

August is Children’s Health & Safety Month! It’s a great time to get all of those annual check-ups out of the way, including a comprehensive eye exam. Sometimes kids can have vision issues they are not aware of until having an exam. Things you can watch for in your child is wondering or crossing eyes, disinterest in reading books or looking at objects far away, holding things really close to see them, squinting or turning their head a certain way to see things, or if there is a strong family history of vision issues. Safety goggles or glasses are also a great idea if your child plays sports. Help your child have a better school year by ensuring they have the best vision possible for learning.
